Journeyman painter

Job description

We’re looking for a painter with a Journeyman Painter’s certificate to join our team on a full-time basis. We specialize in roof repair, restoration, waterproofing and building painting. Our company is located in Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures, but you’ll also be called upon to work anywhere in Quebec. What’s more, we have painting jobs in the coming months in the following regions: Lac Mégantic, Roberval, Petite-Vallée and Forestville.

Responsibilities

• Carry out painting work in accordance with current standards and regulations
• Clean and prepare surfaces, make repairs as required
• Apply paint with a spray gun, roller or brush
• Collaborate with the team to bring projects to fruition

Skills required

• In-depth knowledge of painting techniques
• Ability to work in compliance with safety standards
• Leadership
• Ability to work in a team

Requirements

• CCQ Journeyman Painter Competency Cards absolutely
• Up-to-date WHMIS training
• Training in working at heights an asset
• Ceiling lift and gondola cards an asset
